Wednesday, September 18 we served a meal of chicken and noodles to the men at Beacon of Hope in Fort Dodge. Thirty-three men were fed; they enjoyed the meal and came back for seconds and thirds. We are very grateful that we had good help. Four people prepared the meal in the afternoon and 3 helped deliver. A BIG thanks to the helpers, we will do it again in 2 months! We also delivered a few items that were donated. The shelter is in need of twin and full sized flat sheets, toilet paper and paper towels. If you want to help out you can drop your donated items at the shelter or bring them to First Congo. Thanks!
